About Them: Emily Young is Sam Uley’s fiancée and second cousin to Leah Clearwater. Sam Uley imprinted upon Emily when she was visiting her Leah and he began pursuing her. Emily has copper skin, raven black hair, and three long disfiguring scars running down the right side of her face and down her arms as the result of Sam phasing into a wolf too close to her. The left side of her face is extremely beautiful revealing her former beauty before the scars. These scars pull one of her almond shaped eyes down and also tug on the side of her mouth, causing her to have a scowl on one side of her face. Emily, however, bears no resentment towards Sam or any other members of the pack. Emily works tireless for the Sam and the other members of the wolf pack: cooking them meals and being supportive. Bella also comes under Emily’s wing a little as Bella spends her day with Jacob during New Moon.
