In this interview with Take40.com, The Used confirm that they will indeed be appearing on the New Moon soundtrack and the song will be entitled “For You I Would.” It was written specifically for the film!

When we spoke to Bert McCracken of The Used yesterday, he revealed that a new song of theirs entitled ‘For You I Would’ was set to be the title track!

“It’s gonna be a big deal,” Bert told take40.com. “We wrote a really awesome original song for the movie.”

Bert also said that former Nine Inch Nails musician Danny Lohner produced the track.

There is a video on youtube that contains a sample of a song by The Used and states it is their official song for the New Moon soundtrack. The Used previously tweeted that they were recording for the soundtrack, but there is no confirmation on which specific song. This may be it!
