MTV has an interview with Robert Pattinson.

Read the entire interview here.

Here is an excerpt:

MTV: Taylor Lautner’s transformation between the movies is now the stuff of legend. Tell us about the first time you saw him and what you thought.

Robert Pattinson: I didn’t see Taylor until just a little bit before we started shooting ["New Moon"]. When he came back, I had the same reaction as everybody else. I was like, “Jeez, now I have to go to the gym!” But yeah, it was strange. This one was weird, because I hardly did any scenes with Taylor. We did the scenes at the beginning and scenes at the end [together], and he had his entire story line develop without me being around, which is interesting, because I had no idea where his performance was going. So it wasn’t really a competition or anything; it was all independent. Whereas in “Eclipse,” we’re doing scenes together all the time with Bella

MTV just posted an article and an exclusive reveal of the Twilight In Forks documentary.

By now, Stephenie Meyer fans everywhere have begun buzzing about “Twilight in Forks,” the first-ever documentary about the “Twilight” phenomenon. I’m particularly excited about the movie because I visited the tiny little logging town not too long ago, and it was during that trip that I initially met the crew and heard about the project. Now, as part of the first step in producer York Baur and director Jason Brown’s countdown to the film’s release, the duo have given us the “one sheet” for the flick. So, take a minute and check out the cool art after the jump that will grace the DVD and posters promoting “Twilight in Forks” when it hits stores (and ) October 15th.

I know, I know — if you’re a hardcore Twilighter, you’re probably thinking “I know everything about the world of Edward and Bella already.” Well, I felt the same way at first, but while these guys were filming up and around the real-life Forks, they discovered some things that might open some eyes to the very origins of the “Twilight” saga itself.

“One of the things that makes ‘Twilight’ so unique is how much time Stephenie spent, as almost a journalistic approach, researching [the town’s details] for that original story,” explained Baur. “[‘Twilight’] is about the story [of Bella and Edward] itself, but along the way she documents every nuance of the town so accurately – the names of streets, the distances between things, the actual structures and the businesses. Every detail is in the book, and it’s actually there in the town.”

“An interesting fact about Stephenie’s research is that it’s really accurate — and of course, if you talk to her publicist and herself, they would say she had never been to Forks before she wrote the book,” explained Brown, setting up one of the topics they delve into for the film. “There’s actually a little bit of debate about that that, and it turns up in our movie.”

Are you excited to see “Twilight in Forks?” Will it help you hang in there until the November 20th “New Moon” opening?

Thank you, MTV!

What’s Missing from New Moon Trailer?

MTV Breaks down what they feel are missing from the recently released New Moon Trailer: Meet Jacob Black -

317-280x115

The Cliff Dive — Kristen Stewart told us long ago that Bella’s pivotal cinematic near-suicide will be CGI, and we’ve got to admit: We’re still a bit concerned. give us an idea of some things to expect from what could be the most powerful moment in “New Moon,” but so far, nothing official. Come on, Chris Weitz — cough it up!

Fight Scenes — Although Catherine Hardwicke’s “Twilight” won the hearts of millions of women, it won’t be stealing men away from sports and “Star Trek” sequels anytime soon. Now, with male directors in place for the next two films — and increasingly darker, more action-oriented plotlines to come — it’s time to start convincing the dudes that seeing “New Moon” will do more than put you in your lady’s good graces. But what have we glimpsed so far? Shirtless Jacob, shirt-open Edward, shirtless wolf pack. “Fight Club” gave the same number of abs, but also brought along just as many punches to the face — so bring back the honey and chicken, already!

The Vanishing Volturi — As any good Twilighter knows, the Volturi feature prominently not only in “New Moon,” but also in the overall arc of the “Twilight” saga. So, why have they become the J.D. Salinger of the film series? We want full-on, official shots of Aro, Caius, Marcus and the rest. No more slowing down video clips to see if that’s Michael Sheen in the background — it’s time to bring out the big guns.

Quil Be Seeing You — Everybody’s got their own favorite quasi-obscure “Twilight” character, and mine is Jacob’s “wingman” Quil Ateara. We know he’s played by Tyson Houseman in the film, but we haven’t seen so much as a publicity shot yet. Sure, some might laugh — but I’ll be wearing a “Team Quil” shirt when I see the film on opening night. Which reminds me of a second complaint: Why has no one invented “Team Quil” T-shirts yet?

It Ain’t Easy Being Human— They’re the nicest people in the world and the backbone of the “Twilight” film series: Mike Welch, Christian Serratos, Justin Chon, Anna Kendrick, Billy Burke and others. But although these fan favorites are among the most visible at “Twilight” conventions and other events, we haven’t seen so much as a glimpse of them in the “New Moon” trailers. It’s bad enough that these guys don’t get to pretend they have superhuman powers, the ability to live forever or even a clue as to all the craziness going on in Forks. “Twilight” is nothing without the humanity that Stephenie Meyer injected into it — here’s hoping that Weitz remembers that element as he’s working all those long hours and late nights in the “New Moon” editing bay.

What is your opinion!?
